I just heard about Octopus Gardens. Why they curled up in a ball like that? I read about how its warm, thermal vents, mother protects the eggs but no one mentions the octopus ball! Is that the mother or the egg?

the curled up octopus balls are the brooding female adult octopuses! I’m not sure why they do that but they’re protecting their eggs

An 8,000-year-old marble figurine of a voluptuous woman was unearthed in 2016 in the Neolithic urban settlement of Çatalhöyük in central Turkey. The figurine is 17 centimeters long, 11 centimeters wide and weighs one kilo.

Since it's watermelon season!
My grandfather used to grow watermelons, among other things, and he told me about most of this, especially the orange spot. Those are the absolute best!
i have been given nothing but shiny elongated watermelons with small webbings and white spots. and they make me wanna kill myself
